I am Nathan Mock, a student currently attending Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo studying Computer Science. I am well versed with Java, C, HTML, & PHP and hope to pick up many more.
Aside from my studies, I like to pre-occupy my time with music, photography, and all the simple pleasures of life. I enjoy driving with my heater on and my windows down, watered down soda with the last bit of remaining ice in the cup, loud music, 8PM naps, and coffee induced coding sessions. I am interested in photography – particularly high fashion, landscapes, candids, and street photography. A photograph truly tells a story, a truth not often told with the advent of “automatic shooting” which frivolously exposes each “picture” without the usual attention to detail and composition a manual camera garnishes. I am currently using a Canon 30D and at any given time you can expect that I will be either be using a 50mm portrait or a 10-22mm wide angle lens. My work flow usually consists of importing/processing RAW’s straight from my camera to Aperture and then to Photoshop, and from here I will make minor adjustments to color/composition.
I am in love with music, possessing a vast musical collection mainly composed of electronic and hip hop, but consisting of all genres between. I am an aspiring disc jockey, hoping to have this hobby one day help me travel the world.
